Thank you for visiting the Mail Rewards Club (MRC) website (the "Site"). By using this site and joining The MRC, you accept these terms as part of your membership. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this Site. We may change these terms from time to time and if we change these terms, we will post the revised document here, so you should review them each time that you visit the site. You may wish to print a copy of these terms for future reference.

The website is fulfilled on behalf of Daily Mail / MRC by The Hut.com (Trading) Limited, who own the goods, and the contract is with The Hut.com (Trading) Ltd , Registered office 17 The Esplanade, First Floor, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3QA.

1. About us

  1. 1.1. This Site is operated by Mail Rewards Club, a division of Associated Newspapers Limited, a company registered in England under company number 84121 with a registered office at Northcliffe House, 2 Derry Street, London W8 5TT ("we", "us", "our"). Our VAT number is GB 243571174. You can contact us by logging into your account at the site and sending us a message through the message centre

2. Using our Site

  1. 2.1. We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Site and the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
  2. 2.2. You may view (and, where applicable, watch and listen to) the content available on the site for personal non-commercial use. You may occasionally print individual webpages on the Site for your private non-commercial use, provided that such printing is not substantial or systematic and our trade marks and copyright and trade mark notices are not removed.
  3. 2.3. Unless otherwise stated in these terms, you must not (whether directly or indirectly) copy, download, store, make available, distribute, sell or offer to sell all or any part of the content or Site, or download or otherwise copy (whether directly or indirectly) any content, files or data from the Site to make or populate a database or publication of any kind whatsoever.
  4. 2.4. You may only play video or audio files using the media player on our Site.
  5. 2.5. You must not use all or any part of our Site or the contents on it for commercial purposes without our permission.

3. Registration

  1. 3.1. You must be 18 years old or older to register to the Site and to be a Member of MRC
  2. 3.2. Only one registration per household is allowed. You must keep your registration information up to date.
  3. 3.3. One individual can only have one Mail Rewards Club account
  4. 3.4. Online registration is required to join Mail Rewards Club with completion of all relevant mandatory fields within the registration process
  5. 3.5) You should choose an e-mail address which gives you frequent access to e-mails sent to that address, as we need to be able to contact you. You should keep your password confidential.
  6. 3.6. You must not:
    1. (a) Impersonate or try to impersonate another person
    2. (b) Subject to 3.8 below, disclose your password to anyone else;
    3. (c) Subject to 3.8 below, allow anyone else to use your account;
    4. (d) Use anyone else's account.
  7. 3.7. You are responsible for everything done using your account. If you think that someone else may have access to, or be using, your password or account, you must tell us as soon as possible by phoning 0844 2 439 439 (Calls cost 5p per minute from a BT landline. Calls from mobiles and other networks may be higher. Certain BT plans may attract a connection fee)or for free by logging into your account at the site and sending us a message through the message centre.
  8. 3.8. You can, at your own risk, pass on your details to allow another person to use your details, password/e-mail to enter your Unique Number or manage your account. E.g. MRC customer service team, a friend or family member.

4. Suspending or terminating your registration

  1. 4.1. We may suspend, terminate or prevent your registration or restrict or deny you access to all or some of the parts of the Site at our sole discretion. This may be because, for example, we consider that you have breached or will breach these Terms.

5. Third party content and links available on this Site

  1. 5.1. We are not liable or responsible for the third party content on this Site. Third party content includes, for example, comments posted by users and the content of advertisements.
  2. 5.2. Where this Site contains links to other sites and resources, which are provided by third parties, these links and resources are provided for your information only and you access them at your own risk. We are not liable or responsible for the content of third party sites or resources.

6. Material submitted by you and your personal information.

  1. 6.1. We will use your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read our Privacy Policy.
  2. 6.2. Except for information that identifies you personally (e.g. your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address), any material which you submit will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary such that we shall have the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose it to third parties for any purpose.
  3. 6.3. You agree not to submit any material
    1. 6.3.1. That is false, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, offensive, abusive, likely to cause someone anxiety or distress, encourages violence or racial or religious hatred, blasphemous, pornographic, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy; or
    2. 6.3.2. that infringes any intellectual property rights, such as copyright and trade marks. This means generally that you must own the rights in everything you submit or must obtain permission from the rights owner to submit the material; or
    3. 6.3.3. which is technically harmful (including, without limitation, computer viruses, logic bombs, Trojan horses, worms, harmful components, corrupted data or other malicious software or harmful data); or
    4. 6.3.4. which encourages or teaches conduct that is a criminal offence, gives rise to civil liability, or is otherwise unlawful.
  4. 6.4. We are not obliged to use material submitted by you and we may remove from the Site, any of the material submitted by you at our sole discretion.
  5. 6.5. We will fully co-operate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone submitting material in breach of clause 6.3.
  6. 6.6. We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any materials submitted by you.

7. Our liability

  1. 7.1. The information contained on this Site is for information purposes only and does not constitute advice. You should check any information on the Site and use your own judgment before doing or not doing anything on the basis of what you see. We give no warranties of any kind in relation to the Site or its contents.
  2. 7.2. Except for liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, we are not liable for:
    1. (a) any action you may take as a result of relying on any information provided on this Site or for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of you taking this action;
    2. (b) any dealings you have with third parties (e.g. other users, advertisers or promoters) that take place using or facilitated by the Site;
    3. (c) any liability for losses which are not a foreseeable or likely consequence of (i) your use of the Site, or (ii) a breach of these Terms.
  3. 7.3. We are not responsible if you cannot access the Site properly or at all because of any event outside our control, for example (without limitation) the performance of your or our internet service provider, your browser or the Internet.
  4. 7.4. The Site relies in part on software to work. Software has bugs. Whilst we will monitor the Site and try to fix bugs, we cannot guarantee that the Site or any individual feature of the Site will be error free, available all the time and/or free from viruses.
  5. 7.5. Nothing in these Terms will affect any liability we may have for death or personal injury arising from our negligence or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law.

8. Maintenance of the Site

  1. 8.1. Making your use of the Site enjoyable means we need to fix bugs, install updates and do general diagnosis and maintenance of the Site. We will try to do scheduled maintenance during times when we anticipate that online use is lower than normal.
  2. 8.2. We also need to be able to do emergency maintenance and/or suspend access to the servers where, in our reasonable discretion, we see the need to do that. We will try to have the Site available again as soon as we think it is safe to do so.

9. Validity of these Terms

  1. 9.1. If any part or provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of any other part or provision.

10. Jurisdiction and applicable law

  1. 10.1. These Terms are governed by English law. The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these Terms.

11. Terms and Conditions of the Mail Rewards Club

  1. 1. General

    1. 1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to any User who enrols in the Mail Rewards Club operated by us ("MRC"). By enrolling in the MRC, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Additional terms and conditions may apply in relation to specific rewards and these will be set out on the Site or will be provided by us or our Partners.
  2. 2. Definitions

    1. In these Terms and Conditions unless the context requires otherwise:
    2. "Account" means the individual account associated to a particular user;
    3. "Bonus Mail Points" means any Mail Points that are earned by the input of a a Unique Number or other code
    4. "Customer Service Team" means the customer service team;
    5. "Data" means information relating to a User including but not limited to a User's personal data;
    6. "Fraud" includes any fraud, dishonesty or deceit and includes supplying incorrect information to accrue Mail Points or obtaining Mail Points other than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
    7. "Issued Mail Points" means Mail Points that have been collected by the entryof a Unique Number in accordance with clause 11.1;
    8. "Loss" means losses, liabilities, costs, claims, demands damages, injuries or accidents or (whether direct or indirect) suffered by Users in connection with the provision of Rewards;
    9. "Order" means an order placed by a User for a Reward;
    10. "Partner(s)" means any company selected by MRC from time to time to offer Rewards to Users;
    11. "Mail Point(s)" means the Mail Points earned by a User under the MRC and credited to a User's account and includes both Bonus Mail Points and Issued Mail Points;
    12. "Publication" means the Daily Mail and/or The Mail on Sunday and includes their subsections and magazines but excludes foreign sales and non-paid for copies, copies sold in the Republic of Ireland and online subscriptions;
    13. "Reward(s)" means any goods or services supplied, by or on behalf of us, available for redemption by a User of an appropriate number of Mail Points;
    14. "Unique Number" means a unique number which appears in the Publications;
    15. "User" means a person who is a user of the MRC who has registered for an Account; and
    16. "we", "us" "our" means Associated Newspapers Limited.
  3. 3. Account Eligibility

    1. 3.1. Only one Account per allowed per household and one per User. A household is defined as unique combination of UK postcode and household number. In the case of more than one Account per household and/or User, only the first Account will be valid and all other Accounts will be cancelled and any Mail Points within them will be void.
    2. 3.2. To be eligible to register on this Site you must: 3.2.1 be an individual, be 18 years of age or over; and
      1. 3.2.2. register your real name, address, phone number, e-mail address any other details requested.
  4. 4. Account Application

    1. 4.1. A User must inform us of any changes to their Account including but not limited to changes to their name or address. Correspondence will be sent to the User's most recent mailing address and/or e-mail address and we will not be responsible for late, lost or misdirected mail.
    2. 4.2. We may cancel any Mail Points (including but not limited to Banked Points) or Rewards we reasonably believe have been credited to your account in error or obtained by your Fraud. We are not liable for unauthorised or fraudulent redemptions arising from the actions of the User or by a breach of these Terms and Conditions by the User.
    3. 4.3. It is your responsibility to keep secure any Account log in details or other information that might allow access to your Account by a third party and you are liable for any third party accessing your Account if you have failed to keep such details securely. If you lose or reveal your Account log in details, you should contact us immediately.
    4. 4.4. When you spend Mail Points on a Reward, your Mail Points Balance will be adjusted. We will correct any mistakes that we make on your Account provided that you inform us within 28 days of any such mistake being made.
  5. 5. Orders

    1. 5.1. Rewards must be ordered online at the Site or through the Customer Service Team in accordance with such procedures that may be in force from time to time for the redemption of Banked Points and ordering of Rewards, as set out on the Site.
    2. 5.2. From time to time, we may offer special promotional rates for booking Rewards ("Promotional Rates") and Promotional Rates may be subject to additional terms and conditions as published on the Site.
    3. 5.3. Additional terms (such as special conditions imposed by Partners) may apply to any Rewards you order and will be set out on the Site. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with such additional terms before placing an order.
    4. 5.4. All Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If the goods ordered within an no longer to be available, you will be notified by e-mail and the Mail Points will be credited back to your account.
    5. 5.5. For security reasons we will send any acknowledgement of your Order to the account holder's address/e-mail address. This also applies even if you ask for the Order to be sent to a different delivery address.
    6. 5.6. Any Orders placed by you will be treated as an offer to purchase the goods or services from us and we have the right to reject such offers at any time. You acknowledge that any automated acknowledgment of your Order which you may receive from us shall not amount to our acceptance of your offer to purchase goods or services advertised on the Site.
    7. 5.7. The conclusion of a contract between you and us for a Reward will take place when we dispatch the goods to you or commence the services.
    8. 5.8. Please be aware of any expiry dates which are printed on the front of any vouchers received as a Reward. You cannot use vouchers after the expiry dates and we cannot refund these vouchers if you do not use them or if they are lost, damaged or stolen.
    9. 5.9. Our delivery objectives for all Rewards is within 28 days from the date of redemption.
    10. 5.10. If you do not receive your chosen Reward, we will send a replacement for up to a maximum of one per Reward sent but not received provided that you notify us within 28 days from the date of your dispatch e-mail. We are not obliged to send you a replacement if you have not notified us within 28 days from the date of dispatch.
    11. 5.11. If we have signed proof of delivery we will not replace the Reward on the basis of it not having been received. We will email you e-Vouchers. We will not replace any e-Vouchers that have been redeemed if they were sent to an email address provided by you.
    12. 5.12. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your Order secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data provided by you when accessing or ordering from the Site.
  6. 6. Delivery Information

    1. 6.1. Your Order will set out whether a good or service is delivered by a Supplier based in the UK or a Supplier based in the Channel Islands.
    2. 6.2. We endeavour to only feature and/or sell items that are in stock. Should there be any error in this process and therefore a delay in dispatching your Order to you within the usual dispatch window we will contact you. You will then have the option to cancel your Order should you wish to do so, or else to wait to receive your Order when stock becomes available again.
    3. 6.3. We are able to deliver items for sale on this website to UK and Northern Ireland addresses as long as you have a UK Royal Mail standard postcode (e.g., AB1 1YZ). We are currently not able to deliver to the Channel Islands. We are sorry if this causes any inconvenience.
    4. 6.4. Delivery:
      1. 6.4.1. We aim to deliver Orders within 28 days from the date of your redemption of the applicable Mail Points.
      2. 6.4.2. As we dispatch from more than one supplier, Orders of multiple items may arrive in separate deliveries.
      3. 6.4.3. You will own the Rewards once they have been dispatched to you, and you will therefore be responsible for all risks of whatever nature that arise once the goods have been dispatched in good order to you. You are advised to take out adequate insurance cover for such eventualities.
  7. 7. Returns Policy

    1. 7.1. When you return your item please remember to ask the Post Office for a receipt which you should keep as proof of sending until you have received your replacement or your refund.
    2. 7.2. We will replace any faulty items with the same Reward, or if the Reward is no longer available, we will re-credit the member with the appropriate number of Mail Points spent redeeming the faulty Reward. Our returns policy is valid for 28 days from receipt of goods. We will also accept returns of Rewards within seven working days, starting from the day after you receive the Reward. During this time you may return the Reward if you are unsatisfied with it in any way. Provided that the Reward is in the same condition as that supplied to you and is returned within the 7 days after its receipt by you, we will process your return once we receive the item from you.
    3. 7.3. In order to arrange a return, please contact us and inform our customer service team of your order number, the item you are returning and the reason for the return. You can contact us by logging into your account at the Site and sending us a message through the message centre Or call us on 0844 2 439 439. Calls cost 5p per minute from a BT landline. Calls from mobiles and other networks may be higher. Certain BT plans may attract a connection fee.
    4. 7.4. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any return which does not include a returns authorisation number.
    5. 7.5. We will reply with a unique returns authorisation number and the address you need to send the item to.
    6. 7.6. You'll need to package the item securely and include
      1. 7.6.1. Your order number
      2. 7.6.2. The returns authorisation number
      3. 7.6.3. The reason why you are returning the item.
      4. 7.6.4. If your item is faulty you will need to tell us what exactly the fault is.
  8. 8. Protecting Your Security

    1. 8.1. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data provided by you when accessing or ordering from this Site.
  9. 9. Termination of Accounts

    1. 9.1. Accounts will terminate automatically:
      1. 9.1.1. upon the death of an Unser and Mail Points accumulated will be cancelled; or
      2. 9.1.2. if we reasonably believe that you have committed an act of Fraud against us or any Partner.
    2. 9.2. Users may terminate their account by notice to us in writing and any outstanding Mail Points in the account will be cancelled.
    3. 9.3. In the case of any termination in accordance with paragraph 9.1.2, we will cancel all accrued Mail Points and any Rewards. The User shall be liable to us and/or our Partners for:
      1. 9.3.1. the full price of any Rewards received, wholly or partly as a result of such fraud, in accordance with the recommended retail price of such Rewards; and
      2. 9.3.2. any reasonable costs, including legal fees, incurred by us or the Partner.
    4. 9.4. In the case of termination in accordance with paragraph 9.1.2, MRC reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion to cancel all accrued Mail Points of the User.
    5. 9.5. In the event of the termination of an Account: 9.5.1) all accrued Mail Points will be voided and an User will not be entitled to earn any further Mail Points or Rewards; and
      1. 9.5.2. the accrued rights, remedies, obligations and liabilities of the parties as at termination shall not be affected.
  10. 10. Changes to the MRC

    1. 10.1. We have the right to change these Terms and Conditions (including but not limited to the method of earning or redeeming Mail Points, the Partners, the Rewards and the number of Mail Points required for each Reward) on no less than 1 months' notice. Please refer to the Site for the latest copy of these Terms and Conditions.
    2. 10.2. Users shall be deemed to have agreed to any modifications, withdrawal, amendment or addition to Rewards or the MRC pursuant to paragraph 10.1 if, after we have notified you of the changes, you continue to hold an Account and use the MRC. Users who do not wish to accept changes to the MRC may terminate their Account in accordance with paragraph 9.
  11. 11. Unique Numbers & Mail Points

    1. 11.1. A user must purchase a copy of the Publication to be eligible to register a Unique Number printed in the publication for the appropriate day.
    2. 11.2. A user should input their Unique Numbers before 23.59 on the fourth day following date of issue to be able to claim Issued Mail Points. Each publication will determine and publish on the day of issue how many Mail Points that issue's Unique Number issued is worth.
    3. 11.3. We may change the value of a Mail Point assigned to any Unique Number with reasonable notice.
    4. 11.4. If a Unique Number is missing or is illegible then a replacement will be supplied, at our discretion, via an online verification system, and/or the users account will be credited with the appropriate Mail Points, providing that they answer the required questions about that day's paper correctly. If they do not answer correctly, they will need to contact customer services on 0844 2 439 439. (Calls cost 5p per minute from a BT landline. Calls from mobiles and other networks may be higher. Certain BT plans may attract a connection fee.) Proof of purchase may be required to be provided to us. We may, at our discretion, determine how many times within a set period a user may earn Mail Points by using the online verification system. The promoter will publish within the site the number of times it may be used at that time.
    5. 11.5. From time to time a user may earn Bonus Mail Points.
    6. 11.6. Mail Points earned after 15 September 2012 are valid for one year from the date of publication.
    7. 11.7. Mail Points earned before 15 September 2012 are valid for two years from date of publication.
    8. 11.8. Each Mail Point has a cash value of 0.0001 pence.
    9. 11.9. We may choose not to print Unique Numbers in some and/or all issues of the Publication and therefore not reward Mail Points at any time.
  12. 12. Transferring Mail Points

    1. 12.1. Mail Points are not transferable in any way (whether from person to person or account to account).
    2. 12.2. Any purchase, sale, transfer, procurement or redemption of Mail Points will constitute a material breach by the user of these Terms and Conditions.
    3. 12.3. Reproduction, sale, resale or trade of a Reward is prohibited and we reserve the right to cancel any Reward, at our sole discretion, if we believe that you have not complied with the provisions.
  13. 13. Prize Draw

    1. 13.1. Members who enter at least one Unique Number during each 7 day period will automatically become eligible to be chosen as a winner of our on-going Prize Draws.
    2. 13.2. When a member enters a Unique Number they accept that they may be contacted by a member of the Mail Rewards team if they are a winner of the Prize Draw.
    3. 13.3. We reserve the right not to run a Prize Draw every week and will notify members of this on the Prize Draw page.
    4. 13.4. Following sign up, answering questions in the Online Verification System will count as a free route to entry to any Prize Draws which we run.

      3. (c) any liability for losses which are not a foreseeable or likely consequence of (i) your use of the Site, or (ii) a breach of these Terms.
    3. 7.3. We are not responsible if you cannot access the Site properly or at all because of any event outside our control, for example (without limitation) the performance of your or our ISP, your browser or the Internet.

    Returns procedure

    We take every care to ensure that you receive the correct goods in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that you ever need to return any item to us and it is within our 10 working day warranty period then please call 0843 493 5000 for a returns authorisation number. Our customer service team will then provide you with our returns address. We regret we cannot accept parcels without the returns authorisation number we will provide you with quoted on the outside of the parcel.

    All goods must be returned via recorded, insured method at your own cost. We cannot be held responsible for returns parcels lost in transit. It is the sender's responsibility to ensure parcels are adequately insured. If the goods exceed £27 in value we strongly suggest that take out additional insurance.

    If you are not happy for any reason we will accept return of faulty/unused goods in sealed original packaging for refund or replacement within 10 working days. You must obtain a returns authorisation number by following the procedures above. This does not affect your statutory rights.

    In order that we can satisfy your requirements promptly we will need your full instructions, explaining the reason for the return and the action you wish us to take.

    If exchanging for a more expensive item, please remember to include the additional payment.

    Making a contract with us

    How to place an order

The following terms and conditions ("Terms") relate to The Daily Mail's Lotto Million Pound Giveaway Guaranteed (the "Promotion"). The Promotion gives entrants a chance to win a prize with their National Lottery Lotto ticket by taking part in one, or both, of the two Promotions running simultaneously ("Game 1" and "Game 2") in The Daily Mail. By entering into the Promotion you agree to be bound by these Terms. Eligibility and Taking Part in the Promotion

    4. d. within the entry periods set out below in clause 5 enter your details and unique Ticket number from your valid Ticket along with a unique code (comprising of six numbers from 1 to 49 on Saturday and 1 to 99 on Sunday to Friday) from The Daily Mail (the "Daily Mail Unique Code") which can be found on the back page of the printed paper. Five different Daily Mail Unique Codes from different days (within the date range set out above in 1(f)) are required to enter a Promotion Draw.

        Persons resident in Northern Ireland or the Isle of Man, that satisfy the eligibility criteria in paragraphs 1(b) to 1(c) above can register for a chance to participate in a Promotion Draw without purchasing a Lotto ticket or a copy of The Daily Mail by registering in the same way detailed above and within the entry periods set out in clauses 4 and 5 below. These persons will not be required to provide a Ticket number or a The Daily Mail unique code. Addresses will be verified. Free entry is limited to one per person.

      5. 6. You will be required to provide various mandatory details including your full name, address and telephone number. You will also be required to provide your unique Lotto ticket number (located on your Ticket). Your ticket number will be checked to ensure it is a valid number for the Promotion Draw you are entering. You must keep your original Ticket, or printed validation slip as proof of purchase - this may be required to be shown before any prize is awarded. You will also be required to enter a Daily Mail Unique Number.
      6. 7. Each Lotto ticket number printed on a Ticket can only be entered once per day (regardless of the number of Lotto draws the Ticket is valid for. If you have more than one Lotto ticket number on a separate valid Ticket then you can enter each Lotto ticket number into a Promotion Draw) along with a Daily Mail Unique Number. The same Ticket number can be entered for other applicable Promotion Draws, but must be accompanied by a Daily Mail Unique Number from that week's Entry Period. If the Ticket was purchased on behalf of a syndicate, it is the responsibility of the members of the syndicate to decide who will enter the Promotion and how any prize won may be shared.       26. 24. Associated Newspapers and Camelot's' decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Associated Newspapers and Camelot reserves the right in their reasonable discretion: (a) to disqualify any claimant, competitor or nominee whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the promotion and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct; (b) to declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including but not limited to any error(s) in the Daily Mail, the Mail Online and/or other printed materials) or where there has been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the promotion materially affecting the result of the promotion or the number of claimants or the value of claims; (c) to add to or to waive any rules on reasonable notice; and/or (d) to cancel the promotion or any part of it at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond Associated Newspapers' reasonable control.       29. 27. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude Associated Newspapers' liability for: (i) death or personal injury as a result of its negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
